Babysitter Course

This class is geared towards kids 12 and older. In this 8 hour class, students will learn what it takes to become a safe, fun, professional babysitter. They will learn how to start their babysitting business, including advertising, setting boundaries, discussing wage, and comfort zones. They will also learn about the ins and outs of working with kids and what to expect.

Students also learn standard first aid and receive a two year certification. In standard first aid, they will learn how to control bleeding, clean wounds, deal with injuries, handle medical problems and more. They will also put together a first aid kit that they will get to keep and will be perfect for babysitting.

In this class, students will learn how to do adult/child/infant CPR and use and AED. They will also learn how to deal with choking patients of all ages. They will work with mannikins that provide instant feedback of their efforts. They will receive a two year certification for CPR/AED.

When students successfully complete this class, they will have certifications in Babysitting, First Aid, and Adult/Child/Infant CPR. They will receive a textbook on babysitting and a CPR/AED/First Aid book. They will also get a take home first aid kit, and many resources  that will be useful in their babysitting business.
