This is so exciting! We are always looking for ways to connect with you, so what better way to do that then with a Blog?! Even though our focus at ERT is medical, this blog will contain much more! We will talk about cool hikes, campground reviews, new gear, hiking with kids and dogs, upcoming events, and anything else you are interested in. We want to share our outdoor passions with you. If you have any suggestions for topics that you want to hear about, leave it in the comment section. Make sure you subscribe so you can get notifications on our new post. You don’t have to worry about being bombarded, as I can be pretty lazy about this kind of stuff :).
I am a 42 year old mother of two amazing girls, Riley 13, and Hannah 10. Wife of 15 years (or something like that) to Dave. We have two dogs, Trigger and Athena, both rescues. Trigger is part boarder collie/lab and is about 9 years old. Athena is part plot hound/lab and about 1.5 years old. As a family, we love to camp and hike. We have a travel trailer that makes it much easier for us to spend as much time outdoors as possible. Over the summer, we spend about a month or more on the road camping and exploring as many places as we can. During the school year, I love to do adventure races. In order to stay ready for the races, I try to trail run, mountain bike, and kayak as much as possible. I just had ankle surgery, so my adventuring is on hold right now. I am looking forward to sharing these adventure with you! We want to get as many people outdoors as possible, so hopefully something we talk about will spark a fire for you.
