Kids Outdoor Survival Jr. Class

This class is geared towards kids between the ages of 6-10. Class is held completely outdoors (rain or shine).  During this class, students will learn about being prepared for hikes, what to bring, how to get help in an emergency, how to prevent getting lost and what to do if they do get lost. They will assemble their “Ten Essentials” bag. Students will also learn about animal tracks and scat. They will make a take-home animal print cast. The students will also learn how to build an emergency shelter, and first aid skills.

This class is limited to 8 students and is held at our location in Frederick, MD. Students are required to bring a backpack ( school backpack is fine),a water bottle and personal snacks.
